When we say that you are the creator and director of your reality, we do indeed mean this.
However, as the creator and director of a reality as opposed to, say, a railroad, it does not help you to keep track of what you have done in the past and how the past has met you here in this moment.
Every moment is a new beginning.
The director of a railroad must, by the definition of what a railroad is, use logic as a tool in building their railroad.
The director of a reality will eventually realize the limitations of logic when it's applied in a futile attempt to manage a multi-dimensional experience that is simply riding the expansion of unconditional love.
When you're riding the rails, you want to know what is ahead and plan for it. The best way to do this is to use the past as your guide.
When you're riding unconditional love, the past is no guide since the very nature of your being is expansion and, therefore, you are becoming more than you have been.
The director of a railroad will benefit by using intuition in making decisions and intuition will likely call upon logic.
The director of a reality benefits only from intuition and will find that using logic to bind the past and the future to the present not only doesn't work out but that it is also quite painful.
You may or may not be the director of a railroad...
But you are most definitely the director of your reality.
Where you go from here is up to you and you have instantaneous help in all directions, no matter where you turn.
That is your intuition and it is right in front of you.
What feels better, what is easy to get to, what is simple, what is obvious...
These are the immediate thoughts that intuition offers.
However you got here matters not.
Where you go next can feel better right now.
All is well.
