When you notice you have something, you amplify its presence in your experience.
Since thoughts only amplify and they never correct, this means that the correction to an unwanted experience is not in rooting out its source but in allowing it to exist and then allowing the next better-feeling thought to arise and go in that direction.
This is so astonishingly simple in application that you may tend to dismiss it as a possibility.
But we recommend you try this and find out what happens.
You might be quite delighted, indeed.
