Getting into Your Vortex

Perhaps you have heard us speak about Your Vortex.

Perhaps you have heard our friends Abraham talk about the importance of getting into the vortex.

We do recommend it. We do recommend that you find a way to directly connect with Source Energy through what we like to call your Higher Self.

When you are in Your Vortex, you will find everything you have been waiting for. It is all there and in a perfectly ordered way. In Your Vortex, the Universe, the Law of Attraction, this mechanical process, is ordering and arranging everything you are wanting.

When you are in Your Vortex it feels very good because you can feel your connection. Your connection to Source is always a tremendous experience.

And so, we know that many of you are wondering how, exactly, to get into Your Vortex.

There are countless ways and each of you has a way that is easier for you than it might be for another.

For some, you might enjoy listening to music that stirs you.

You might enjoy remembering a particularly delightful experience, all the while savoring and amplifying the moments that you loved and allowing the feeling of them to enter fully into your awareness.

You might enjoy spending time with a loved one, with a beast such as a cat or a dog or a bird, with a small child whose laughter and delight feels contagious to you. All the while you are doing this, again, savoring and basking in the moments that feels so good to you and deciding to amplify them through your attention.

You might enjoy reading, hearing, or watching inspiring material that reminds you of the truth of who you are.

All of these things may very well help you get into Your Vortex. As you are there, you will feel the wonder of it all. Everything that you look upon will delight you and you will find it easy to ignore what you are not wanting.

And… you may get kicked out from time to time. You may find some topics to be nettlesome and so you find yourself outside Your Vortex. But, as you will know when you are in Your Vortex, you will want to expend that little effort and desire that will move you back into Your Vortex where you can hand over the nettlesome topic to the Universe to arrange for you.

We do want to share with you a process that you might find helpful in addition to what we have listed and all those ways that our friends Abraham have discussed.

This is, quite plainly, how Frank gets into His Vortex. It’s simple in execution but may take a little bit of practice. In fact, it is so simple, that you may not believe, at first, that it is possible.

Simply put: take a moment and find a comfortable place where you are seated or standing. Once you understand how to do this, you can then try it while prone but it’s simpler if you begin while seated.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Allow yourself to relax a bit. As you do, imagine that there is a swirl of energy that surrounds your body. You can imagine it to be whatever color is pleasing to you, but you might find it simplest to imagine that this energy is just a clear white light.

As you imagine this swirling light circling your body, decide that you want to be in Your Vortex. You can do this by speaking that decision out loud or just by making a mental decision that you want to be in Your Vortex.

The first time you do this, it might feel a bit quiet or even strange. If you feel as though you can’t quite get to where you want to be, don’t worry about it too much. Just move on to something else and then come back when you are ready.

But, if you begin to feel a pleasant sensation in your body or any feeling of a deeper relaxation than where you began, then you can know that you are indeed connecting with Your Vortex. There is, most definitely, a physical effect to entering Your Vortex. Your body will feel better.

As you begin to notice these subtle physical changes, begin to notice your thoughts and your feelings. See how much easier it is to reach for a better feeling thought. Once you are in Your Vortex, you will be able to reach for better feeling thoughts quite easily and you will notice that their impact is more pronounced than when you are outside of Your Vortex.

Time will seem to be less of a foe and more of an ally. Thoughts will begin to naturally bend in the direction of well-being and positive intention. The motives of others will appear less devious and more open and positive, if only misguided. You will find it easier and easier to feel better about yourself and you will find it easier and easier to feel better about others around you.

As you practice this process, you will have opportunities to refine it and enhance it and make it completely your own. We do suggest that you practice it several times a day until you notice that you can quickly enter Your Vortex just by thinking about it. This will happen, even if you think such a possibility is a bit off from where you are.

We do want to be clear about one thing that we think is very important. Being in Your Vortex is not about solving problems, although problems can be solved in Your Vortex. It is not about healing hurts and pain, although great healing can happen in Your Vortex. Being in Your Vortex is about how it feels to you and the increasingly more profound and powerful alignment that you find there. Getting into Your Vortex because it feels good to you is the single most important rationale we could ever offer you for doing so.

From Frank: Please leave comments about your experience in using this process. I am very interested to discover how well it works for other folks. Many thanks!

    Frank, this is wonderful!

I just tried it and it was easy!

Imagining energy surrounding me is something I’ve done before so easy for me to move into that. As I said to myself “I want to be in my Vortex” I immediately had a thought of Dorothy clicking her red shoed heels together to go home, and a soft, loving smile came to my face – I like funny ;) And that feeling stayed and stayed.

I’m all tickled still, especially with the thought of doing this again and imagining me clicking my heels together as I say I want to go to my Vortex. LOL!!

My feelings were subtle but unmistakable. They were the same soft loving feeling I get when I’m rampaging appreciation or playing in GVU or have laughed myself silly. So I know I was home in my Vortex!

    Thanks for this! JLACherIam

@Jody — Ooh! Your Higher Self is giving you the best inner images! Love that — and thanks for sharing your experience!

  5. Frank, I am so enjoying the writings here.

After reading this, I tried the ‘exercise’ and did not feel a thing. Disappointed, I headed to bed as it was late at night…as I stepped quietly among my family expressing gratitude and being happy, I realized – I am already IN my vortex! I started grinning madly and not a moment later, a thought came to me to look in a certain place for a tiny thing I’ve been searching for. Sure enough, in this obscure place, there lay this tiny gem I’ve been missing! Life is so fun.

I thank you for your encouragement to me and to all your readers to live in the Vortex!

    @Shauna –

Of course! How very cool to have that realization!

Paul had a conversation with someone the other day and talked about how we can even segment intend our time INSIDE our vortex. How cool is that! It looks like you were doing that quite beautifully.

And thanks for sharing your insight — very cool!

  7. Interesting, it makes sense that segment intending would work best when one puts oneself into the vortex.
I am feeling a slight conflict as I think about the focus required for segment intending and the flow required for vortex-y feelings…hmmm. The best focus, though, does truly come from letting go and allowing, whether in sports or anything else…thanks for the food for thought, Frank

  8. Frank Butterfield says:

    @Shauna –

Of course, no two people have the same experience of their vortex. And for myself, I notice that it’s really just an adjustment in my expectation about being inside my vortex while inside my vortex that causes the shift, particularly when I want more feelings of calm-freedom instead of exuberant-joy, which is usually how it happens for me.

  9. Ooooh, how fascinating. My comments above stem from understanding segment intending as an intention to, say, accomplish a certain task in the next 30 minutes, such as writing or exercising. Chaning an experience and feelings within the vortex via an intention to do so – how fun! I shall try that now as I go back out onto my beautiful balcony to sip my coffee. Thanks again! xo

Frank, I think you should be nominated as a National Treasure. Thanks so much for this post and the blessings of the three calls a week — guaranteed time in the Vortex. How fortunate are we! Have a fabulous trip!

    LOL! Thank you so much!

This technique works wonderfully for me! Thank you so much for sharing!

  13. Michael says:

Some initial success with this method which was definitely appreciated. Although I had intended to be in/near the vortex today, I had some nice contrast which I was having some challenges appreciating… but, made it into the vortex when trying this.

I had thought the process would be longer, and so waited to try it for the past month… wanting to give it more time, a quiet place… If I had realized it was that quick and easy… oh well, : ). Now I’m going to be using regularly to see how it develops for me. Thank you!

  14. Frank Butterfield says:

@Julie — Wonderful! Thanks for letting us all know!

I just tried this very delicious game (I like to call processes, “games”). Picturing the swirl made me dizzy! So , I clicked my red ruby slippers and in I went. I was already in my Vortex, but this allowed me to go deeped. My body heated up, I felt even more excited and the smile on my face was bigger. I love this game! Thanks! :)

  19. Frank Butterfield says:

@Stephanie — And I love that you call it a game! And that you found a way to make it work for you!! Thanks!

We’ve just released a Getting Into Your Vortex meditation CD based on what Paul wrote above. It’s pretty amazing and I think you’ll like it quite a bit!
