The way you've been trained to be considerate of others is to decide beforehand what it is that they want and then accommodate yourself to that. But that's just a wild guess.

An awesome rampage of allowing!

Today, in the August Allowing series, we did a rampage on allowing our likes and preferences.

The result was very delicious!

Here are the first few lines:

There is no doubt that I am, right here and right now, in exactly the right place.

And I know that the way I got here was from the choices I made that came from the preferences that I have established in my life.

What I love about creating my reality is that I get to create the reality that I want.

My job is not to line up with what anyone else tells me or what anyone else even suggests, no matter how friendly or wise that suggestion may be.

My job is to line up with what feels better within me.

And what is arising naturally when I pay attention to what feels better within me are my definitive likes and preferences that have been established because of who I am and who I came to be in this life.

And it just gets better from there! Listen in and enjoy the deliciousness of it!

The Act of Allowing

Now, it might seem odd to use the word “act” when it comes to discussing allowing.

But, allowing is a choice that you are making. So you do take action in that direction.

You decide to allow what you have powerfully summoned forth.

And in that decision, you are stepping back and giving the Universe room to move on your behalf.

Allowing is an act of surrender. You are letting go of the belief that you must do it yourself, something your culture has been very, very concerned about making sure you remember (for very well-intentioned reasons).

However, in this surrender, there is a sweetness that reminds you, again and again, that you are definitely in the right place and the right time.

In this allowing, in this surrender, you are lining up with the broader You: your Inner Being that is the fullness of you that holds the vision for the totality of what you are creating in your physical world.

You have powerfully summoned forth all manner of delicious, sweet, lovely, powerful, amazing, joyful, loving experiences for yourself.

As you allow them to come forth, you will be training yourself in the direction of nothing less than the dreams that you have been dreaming for so long and that are now available to you because you are letting them arrive.

And that allowing is very sweet indeed!

There’s still plenty of time to register for the August Allowing rampage series.

Integration

Integration is a word we use that says that you are there already.

In other words, you are already that which you are wanting. It is now present for you. It is real and it is normal for you. Now.

The key here is to use your inner eye to see what is real as opposed to your physical eyes. Your physical eyes can only show you the past.

When you feel your way into integration with any subject, it will probably not feel like excitement or bouncing-up-and-down delight. It will feel normal. It will feel like what you are expecting. And this is exactly right.

If you look at your life to date, you will see a number of things that were exciting and exuberant for a moment or two, but then became the new normal. This is what integration is. And this is what integration does.

So, when you are experiencing integration, everything is as you are expecting or better but nothing is oddly out of place or gleaming or glowing in a way that says, “Hey, this is different. This is weird. This is unusual.”

Integration feels like relief: the relief that you feel when things right themselves and you know that all is well and that you are in the right place at the right time.

Integration is what happens when the expanded version of you is the you that you have become and it’s just right.

So, we invite you to think about integration.

We invite you to ask for examples of integration that are already in your life.

We invite you to look for more and more of what you are wanting as already being integrated in your life.

We invite you to imagine saying, “I have what I want and it is just right for me and quite normal.”

And, as you do this, you will begin to notice how this is what you’ve been wanting all along: the next obvious and wonderful thing that is exactly right for you and quite normal and integrated into your life and into your thinking. And this is a wonderful thing indeed.

Life is a game

What if we said to you that your life is a game and that you constructed all the rules and decided, more or less, how it would go a long time ago?

Now, by “a long time ago” we don’t mean before you were born. We mean that long ago you found ideas, people, and concepts to line up with for various reasons and so you took on pieces and parts of what they offered and made it your own.

So your game operates exactly the way you ask it to. It contains all the prizes and the benefits as well as the penalties and time-outs that you built into it.

Your game has been evolving and changing. Sometimes you have too many time-outs so you decide to change the rules about when that happens. And conversely, some of you may have decided that to have too many prizes is unfair to others so you raised the bar as to when you could be rewarded or receive what you’re asking for.

It doesn’t matter what game you are playing or what the rules have been or what they are now. You can always change any part of it at any time through the power of your decision.

How about playing a game where you do only what you enjoy and what feels better to you?

How about playing a game where you are constantly showered with rewards?

How about playing a game where time-outs are more like luxurious naps and delightful dreams that leave you refreshed?

How about playing a game where the buzzer only sounds when you are doing something you don’t want to do?

How about playing a game where you can play with as many (or as few) other people as you yourself want?

If any of this appeals to you, you might want to take a pen and paper and make some notes about the game you want to play.

One of our physical friends wants to play a game where she is only doing what she loves, it all feels joyful, and she makes money all the time. Another of her rules is that, no matter how much money she spends, there is always more at the end of the day than what she started with with.

She loves the idea of the buzzer telling her when she is not following one of the rules. In other words, the buzzer sounds when she is not doing what she loves or when she forgets that it’s ok to spend money because more is coming.

Another of our physical friends wants to play a game where he is always on vacation, makes more money than he can spend, and only connects with people that he really loves to spend time with.

Perhaps at first some of your rules may be the opposite of the rules you’ve been playing by so far. And that’s fine. Law of Attraction, that single organizing principle of the Universe, will sort that out for you.

And as you have more time and experience with the utter delight of creating this game to be what you want, you will come to understand that there is no value at all in playing by another person’s rules. It doesn’t help them at all. It only takes you out of alignment with you which has the opposite effect of what you both really want.

You may be asking yourself whether such a thing would be safe. You might have questions like, “Don’t we all have to act according to the norms of society? What about gravity? Do I have to figure this out all myself? Why couldn’t I involve others in my game?”

These are all delicious questions (and likely you have more and better ones) and they are all answered in one way: follow what feels better to you. In fact, we could say that from our perspective this is the only one rule that you do follow. And all of you follow it instinctively if only because you think that if you do the right thing now then what’s coming will be better.

We encourage you to create rules that don’t delay the experience of what you’re wanting. We suggest that you think about what you do want now and create rules that support you in having it. And, as you do this, you will notice that contrast will come along and help you define and refine more of what you’re wanting.

It’s just a game, after all. You can change the rules whenever you want because they only apply to you.

Our final suggestion is that you have as much fun with your game as you will allow yourself to have. If you follow what feels better to you, and use that delicious connection with your inner being as your guide, you will find yourself creating fun, amazing, wondrous games which are always getting better and better. Indeed!
